How Amazon’s retail revolution is changing the way we access goods and services

In the course of less than three decades, Amazon has blossomed from a simple online bookseller to one of the most successful and powerful companies in the twenty-first century. The Founder and CEO Jeff Bezos has grown resoundingly that critics, overseas regulators, and Washington politicians are all now in a dilemma and in a state of frustration whether the company has become a huge force to recon, and what, if anything is capable of reining in its reach. A previous spat with Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) gave a for tens of thousands of employees' minimum wages, but Amazon still runs largely without any meaningful checks on its so-called huge power even as it moves aggressively to conquer other areas of business such as physical retail, the smart home, and warehouse and aviation robotics. Yet although having an influence in a vast number of different industries, consumers in essence still trust Amazon with all things from their personal information and buying habits to the conv...

Whatsapp won't work on these smartphones from 2020. Check out to if there is any need to upgrade

In just a few weeks WhatsApp won't be working on a couple of smartphones. As said on the FAQ section of the instant messaging platform, there are a number of Android and iOS phones that will not be supported as early as 31 January 2020.

It is an expense for the company to continue supporting a version of an operating that has relatively few users. You can't continue baking a certain flavour of pizza if it is bought by few people. You may make a decision to discontinue that flavour and concentrate on popular flavours. Whatsapp is helping you to shift to a better operating system.

According to the information on WhatsApp FAQ section, Android phones running on Android 2.3.7 operating system and iPhones running on iOS 8 will be divorced by WhatsApp from next year.

Moreover, the FAQ also postulates that these older versions  "can no longer create new accounts, nor re-verify existing accounts after February 1, 2020."

Furthermore WhatsApp is withdrawing support for all Windows phones from December 31, 2019 — the same month that Microsoft ends support of its failed Windows 10 Mobile OS. The company also added that the app "might not be available in the Microsoft Store after July 1, 2019." This sounds very serious.

But, if you have a Windows smartphone, and don’t want to lose all your chats and information on 31 December, 2019 there is an option to save your chats.

Open the chat you wish to export, and tap on Group Info.

Tap ‘Export Chat’. You’ll then be given the option to download the chat with or without media. Choose your option and export all your chats.

WhatsApp also highlighted that the decision to end WhatsApp support for these Android phones and iPhones will not affect a lot of users.

To recall, the following operating systems will not support WhatsApp from next year:

-Android versions 2.3.7 and older

-iOS 8 and older

-All Windows OS phones from 31 December, 2019

WhatsApp also listed the operating systems that the app supports and recommends users to use the following updated devices:

-Android running OS 4.0.3+

-iPhone running iOS 9+...
